About the Event
Suck at Speaking? Or maybe you just want to get better at it?
Many people think that Toastmasters is only for people who do speaking in front of large crowds. Certainly, we can help this person, but we actually do better at helping people in their everyday speaking, at home, at work, and in the community.
- Learn how to be confident while interviewing for that next great position
- Present clearly to your team, to your sports club, and to your boss
- Get noticed by others with your eloquence, your flow of speech, and your lack of fillers (like, um)
- Speak up in meetings and keep your cool when called upon to share your thoughts
Truly, Toastmasters is a club that can help many people, including you!
Come and join us for a special Open House where we show guests just what we do every other week. There is no cost and you don't have to participate (introverts, this should make you feel comfortable).
If you like what you see, come again as a guest. If ever you want to join, it's only $60 per semester (1/2 year) and that fee includes a wealth of information and an online guided training program.
The Owatonna Club #134 is over 80 years old and meets every 1st and 3rd Wednesday of the month, from 6:30am to 7:30am (we are pretty prompt on time).
Currently, we are meeting on Zoom. When restrictions get lifted, we will resume meeting at the Kitchen (where we also order breakfast!).
By registering now, we'll share with you the Zoom link and will know to expect you. Your information will not be used for any other purpose.
Sign up now! Besides, what else are you going to be doing at 6:30am?
